Wedding Celebrant
Congratulations on your engagement!
In preparing for your big day there is the venue, the dress, the bridesmaids and the flowers to organise but the core of the wedding is the ceremony and having a Celebrant to work with you to ensure your ceremony is unique to you both.
This is where I come in – to create with you a magical, heart felt and memorable ceremony. We will work together to ensure that your wishes are met and your dreams will become reality.
Second time round couples are especially welcome and if you are based overseas and coming to New Zealand for your wedding, I extend my services to help with any arrangements for your wedding – photographer, florist, the cake, catering and even witnesses. Please contact me to discuss how I can be of assistance.
Whether you are on the beach, backyard, wedding venue I have a sound system and microphones that will ensure everyone will be able to hear the ceremony.
It is available for the ceremony to play your entrance music, use during the ceremony, music during the signing and exit music.
The use of the sound system is included as part of the celebrant fee.

You will be required to apply for a Marriage Licence, through Births, Deaths and Marriage http://www.dia.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Births-Deaths-and-Marriages-How-to-Get-a-Marriage-Licence
Your licence is valid for three months from the date of the licence and a Registered Marriage Celebrant is required to carry out the marriage.
In the 21st century a lot has changed with marriage ceremonies except at some point you are required to say “I AB take you CD” to be my husband/wife – or words to that effect, using the full names of the couple.
The rest of the ceremony can be personalised to suit the couple. Two witnesses are needed – they do not need to be the bridal couple, they can be anyone that you nominate.
The marriage licence is signed by the bridal couple, the two witnesses and the Celebrant. All very straight forward and I am able to assist with any questions.
